Itinerary
The Arroyo (stream) de la Ventilla begins to flow 3.5 km. east of the village of Arriate, to the north of the Serrania de Ronda District, and flows into the Guadalcobacin River after running across a beautiful shady and densely wooded gorge excavated by the water on the Ronda plains soft sandstone ground.
Despite the Arroyo de la Ventilla is the extension of Chorrero and Toro streams, coming from Sierra Blanquilla, most of its regular water flow comes from the Manantial (spring) de la Ventilla, located next to road A-367 (Campillos-Ronda) km. 50, at the end of the route we are suggesting this month.
There are not many more places in Malaga province where you can enjoy so many interesting birds and have a pleasant walk in a cool shady natural Mediterranean forest like this one in July.
